Addie Forbus joined Neighborhood Health in June 2026 as a behavioral health provider. She earned her education from the University of Mississippi and Adams State University, specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Addie is passionate about helping patients navigate life’s challenges and believes that everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to feel heard, understood, and valued.
Addie has a special interest in helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and substance use. She understands that reaching out for help isn’t always easy and strives to create a warm, welcoming environment where patients can feel comfortable sharing their experiences. With a compassionate, judgment-free approach, Addie encourages patients to recognize their strengths, build confidence, and take meaningful steps toward better emotional health and well-being.
Addie believes that mental health is an important part of overall health and that no one should have to face difficult times alone. Whether someone is working through everyday stress, managing depression, or navigating recovery, she hopes to help patients feel supported and empowered as they work toward their personal goals.
Outside of work, Addie enjoys visiting friends, reading, and exploring new coffee shops. She’s also a movie enthusiast and a fan of director Christopher Nolan. At home, she shares her life with Rogue, a very energetic German Pointer who, despite all his energy, is hilariously afraid of his own shadow! Addie also enjoys discovering Nashville’s local dining scene, with favorites including Redheaded Stranger, Flora & Fauna, and Kisser.
Addie brings warmth, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others to her work at Neighborhood Health. Her goal is to make every patient feel welcome, respected, and encouraged as they take steps toward a healthier, happier life.
