This process is designed to assist us in addressing important issues while we aim to support future providers serving uninsured and underserved populations. Additionally, it helps reduce our unreimbursed administrative expenses related to placements and ensures adherence to legal and accreditation standards. We strictly adhere to the following procedures without exceptions. Students, residents, and interns who do not fully comply with this process will not qualify for placement at Neighborhood Health.

Prior to applying, students are advised to verify with their educational institution that a valid and active affiliation agreement exists between the school and Neighborhood Health. For Neighborhood Health to evaluate an individual for placement, there must be a signed affiliation agreement with the student’s, resident’s, or intern’s institution.

By applying, the student, resident, or intern agrees that Neighborhood Health has the sole authority to determine and revoke placement opportunities at its discretion. It is important for students not to view their application as a guarantee of placement. We advise students to explore additional options until they receive written confirmation of their placement approval.
